DOUEE LLC COMPANY POLICIES:
RETURN POLICY
All sales and deposits are final sale and non-refundable. If your order arrives and you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied. If you need to postpone a custom order we will issue a store credit for the deposit amount which can be used within 3 months of the deposit payment date. If you need to cancel a custom order the deposit will go towards services rendered therefore it is non-refundable.
CUSTOMIZABLE ITEMS AND NOTECARD
All customizable items (i.e. personalized gift tag or sticker templates, engraved items, uploaded documents, custom printing) included as part of an order will be printed exactly as they are submitted by the customer. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that all submissions are correct. Douee LLC is not responsible for any misspellings, typographical errors, omissions, or any other inaccuracies contained in any submissions provided by the customer. If you do not specify that you want an item customized or fail to provide Douee LLC with your logo we will send the items without customization and will include a standard notecard without your logo or other personalization.
DELIVERY PROTOCOL:
Our gift boxes are artisan in nature and proudly made to order! Once you place your order, please allow 10 days for production plus transit time for delivery, not including the date your order was placed. If you are placing the order for a later date or a special occasion you are responsible to select your shipping date at checkout or contact us with your desired delivery date and we will ship out the order to arrive in time for your occasion, all orders must be placed at least 10 days in advance to secure desired shipping date. If you fail to provide us with your desired delivery date Douee LLC is not responsible for production and delivery times, we will contact you when your order is ready. Please note exact delivery times are subject to change due to material, carrier, or other delays. To rush production on your order, please see the "Rush Shipping Options" section below. Important Exception: Orders requiring customization (i.e. our Add-Your-Own-Logo Program orders, personalized gift tags, customized tent cards, and/or monogrammed items) are subject to production times subject to supplier plus transit time. Large bulk orders may also involve extended production times depending on the size. If production time will exceed lead times outlined above, we will reach out and provide you with an accurate ETA based on the size of your order. After you select a shipping option, we will reach out and provide you with an accurate ETA once your order has shipped. Douee LLC is not responsible for late shipments due to a shipping provider.
FREE PICKUP: We offer free pickup on all orders from our Rockland County, NY location!
DROP SHIP: Shipping and handling fees will be calculated at checkout. For all custom orders shipping and handling fees will be calculated and invoiced when ready to ship. Orders will ship once invoice is paid in full.
Ground Shipping
If you choose to go with standard shipping, your gift will ship with the providers Ground Shipping option which is advertised yet not confirmed to be a 1-5 business day lead time anywhere in the contiguous United States. Please note that prices may vary depending on shipping provider and these calculations do not take into consideration any Covid, inclement weather, or holiday-related delays.
RUSH SHIPPING
We offer the following rush shipping options: 2-Day, Next-Day Standard, and Next-Day Priority. Please note that prices may vary depending on shipping provider and these calculations do not take into consideration any Covid, inclement weather, or holiday-related delays.
COVID SHIPPING DELAYS
Transit times can vary greatly due to the impact Covid has on supply chain. Therefore, we are NOT able to guarantee transit times. If your gift is time sensitive, please consider upgrading to rush shipping which may help speed things up! At this time, we do not issue refunds, offer discounts, or accept returns for gifts that experience transit delays as these delays are unfortunately completely out of our control. Even rush shipping options such as Priority or 2-Day are not guaranteed at this time and therefore cannot be guaranteed by us. We can upgrade your shipping with the option to add Insurance to your order at your cost in the event your order is extremely delayed, lost in transit, or unable to be located by your recipient despite tracking indicating a successful delivery. We will make every effort to get your order to you on time, we strongly recommend adding insurance to all orders, especially during these challenging times.
RETURNED SHIPMENTS
If your gift is returned as undeliverable, we are happy to re-ship your gift following this protocol: We notify you via email and/or phone call that your gift box has been returned and the reason it was returned (i.e. not picked up, declined by recipient, invalid address) You provide us with an updated/valid mailing address to attempt re-delivery. We open the shipping box and adjust anything that may have shifted around within the gift box during transit to make sure the gift is in perfect condition to be shipped again. We will repackage your gift in a brand new, clean shipping box with new packaging material. The fee to re-process return-to-sender gifts is $15 plus the actual cost of postage. We will send you an invoice and once the invoice is paid, we will re-ship the gift to your recipient within 2 business days. If the invoice is not paid within 5 business days of the invoice being sent, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of Douee LLC. No refunds or credits will be issued. If Douee LLC does not receive a response within 10 business days of notifying you that the gift has been returned, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of Douee LLC. No refunds or credits will be issued.
UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS
Douee LLC is not responsible for packages unclaimed by recipients and therefore will not issue refunds or store credits for any unclaimed packages.
FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Food products that Douee LLC provides are generally labeled with possible allergen-containing ingredients from the manufacturer. Any non-labeled food always has a risk of possible allergen contamination. All clients and their guests are encouraged to read the labels before consuming. Douee LLC will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed including labeled and non-labeled food products.
PRIVACY
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists. We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place.
We reserve the right to modify our policies at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If DOUEE LLC is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
